Pre-Battle Reconnaissance
Press Enter before talking to RED. Inspect your team's complete movesets, natures, and abilities. Reorder your party to place your best counter against RED's Pikachu as your lead.
Respect the SET Battle Style
Battles are hardcoded to SET style. When you knock out an opponent's Pokémon, the game does not ask if you want to switch. Switching mid-turn costs you a free attack!
Neutralize the Snorlax Threat
RED's Snorlax runs Curse + Rest with Leftovers. If you allow him two turns of Curse setup, he becomes physically impenetrable. Use Fighting moves, Taunt, or powerful Special attackers immediately.
Calculated Sacrifices
Because items from the bag are strictly banned, bringing back a fainted Pokémon is impossible. Sacrifice weakened team members to bring in your primary sweepers cleanly without taking damage.

What is Pokemon Daily Red?
Pokemon Daily Red (often searched as Daily Red Pokemon Game or Pokemon Wordle Daily Red) is a free web-based challenge game. Every day at local midnight, trainers receive six random Level 100 Pokémon from Generations I–III and must defeat Champion RED on Mt. Silver in a single attempt.
When does the daily challenge reset?
The daily challenge resets automatically at 00:00 (midnight) in your local device time zone. A countdown clock in the right sidebar displays the exact hours, minutes, and seconds remaining until the next team is generated.
How does the Practice Mode work?
You can use the Practice Arena launcher in the sidebar to enter any custom numeric seed (or roll a random one). Practice runs give you unlimited attempts to test teams and mechanics without affecting your official daily win/loss streak!
Are my win streaks and records saved?
Yes. Your wins, losses, win streak, and day streak are stored securely in your browser's Local Storage. Note that clearing browser site data or cookies will reset your stats.
Can I play on iOS, Android, or mobile devices?
Yes! The site includes a dedicated retro virtual Game Boy controller below the screen. You can slide your thumb on the directional D-Pad and tap tactile A/B buttons for a fluid handheld experience.
